Ohio native Robbie Pyle won the ASA Late Model Series Northern Division George Appleton 125 at the Grundy County Speedway (Morris, Ill.) on Sunday afternoon, May 30.

Hoffman came home third beind winner Robbie Pyle with McGrath getting fifth. Danta, the event's fastest qualifier, dropped out of the race after a tangle witrh Jordan Sims.

During in his best-ever career performance, 19-year-old Jordan Sims (99) finished second to winner Robbie Pyles in Sunday afternoon's George Appleton Memorial 125 at the Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Ill. Veteran Larry Schuler (52) took a ride in Ricky Baker's Ford Sunday during the ASA Late Model Series Northern Division George Appleton 125 at the Grundy County Speedway (Morris, Ill.) on Sunday afternoon, May 30. Schuler, seen here racing with Trevor Dassow (89), dropped out of the race with Dassow finishing seventh.

Rita Fields (5), a regular in the limited late model action at Illiana Motor Speedway in Schererville, Ind., made her first ASA Late Model series start at Grundy County Speedway (Morris, Ill.), competing in the 12th annual George Appleton Memorial 125. Fields dropped out of the race after a crash with Jared Marks and was credited with a 13th place finish.
