Rich Rish hot laps the street legal modified that he built at Lake Village Speedway in 2006.
My son Russ was riding shotgun during this session and had a ball!

The back of Bill Davis' modified says it all!

Dale Jarrett in Victory Lane 1999 at the Brickyard 400. Dale's wife Kelley (the blonde behind the trophy with sunglasses) appears to be playing a trick on Todd Parrott's wife by putting devil horns behind her head!
Look closely for 2 black gloved fingers.

Kyle Petty is doing what?
A. Reading an invisible newspaper.
B. Showing how he holds the steering wheel.
C. Trying to find out who super-glued his fingers together.

One last look at Midget Icon Mel Kenyon's last ride at Fort Wayne last December in the Coliseum.
Thanks for all of the great memories Mel.

It's always fun to see the way racing used to be right in front of your eyes!

Jon Stanbrough, Josh Wise and Dave Darland racing at Kamp Speedway
with the USAC Sprints for the last time last year.

IMOD rookie of the year Adam Williams (14) mixes it up with veteran Jesse Bitterling at Shadyhill last year. Increased interest in the IMOD division should bring some excellent racing action this year. BE THERE!!

During the 2004 Summernationals at Crown Point Speedway,
there was a special "Race around the big tire race"......April Fool!

On the very last night of racing at Crown Point Speedway, these two drivers went out in spectacular fashion.

Two things in life you want to avoid: walking behind a horse and standing anywhere
behind jet dragsters firing up!This was at US 41 Dragway in Morocco in 1996.

2009 UMP Late Model National Champion Jason Feger last year at
Kankakee Speedway qualifying for the Summernationals.

Walking tall and looking good, rookie Tony Stewart walks down to his car on pit road
to qualify for the 1999 Brickyard 400.

This is an action shot from Jungle Park Speedway down near Turkey Run State Park.
The date and photographer is unknown for this photo. That is NOT me in the white helmet!

This is Jungle Park as it appeared in the late 1990's. Might be a good place for the Ghosthunters!

On pit road in 1999 I hollered over to Darrell Waltrip "Hey Waltrip, where'd you get those shoes? From the Boogity man??" Funny how that word just hasn't gone away..........

Arkanasas' Wendell Wallace's late model comes down from the heavens in 2003 at Crown Point Speedway. That big sky is the only thing left where the speedway used to be. Sad.

I kinda liked the way this "mistake" came out, sort of like "This is your camera on drugs" type of thing!

Steve Campbell sporting Chicago Wolves sponsorship "on a breakaway" down the backstretch
during the 2008 Bettenhausen 100 at Illiana Speedway.

Nick Allen getting a wheel up on Bill Davis at Crown Point Speedway in 2005.

This is a photo of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Dick Trickle after Jr. flipped at Daytona Speedway in 1998. It was during a Busch 300 when he flipped coming out of turn 2 on the backstretch and landed on Trickle's #64. I was sitting about 39 rows up in the grandstand and I was fortunate (lucky!) to have this happen right in front of me. They continued sliding on the grass for a few hundred yards. This photo appeared in Stock Car Racing magazine in September 1999 and also won for me a Wittnauer watch! (Gary Gasper Photo)
