Ovid, Michigan (September 18, 2010):
The High Powered
Outlaw
Super Late Models were supposed to return for their Second and
FINAL
Apperance of the 2010 Racing Season as it's the Second and FINAL
Round
of the Big "O" Duels Series and the running of the
2nd annual Heritage
100!
Unfortunately Mother Nature ruined those plans and forced Fast
Track
Promotion Inc., to cancel the racing action. For the Outlaw Super
Late
Models, the Big "O" Duels Series is complete and there
are
Co-Champions in the series as Johnny VanDoorn and Mike Root are
both
the 2010 Big "O" Duels Series Super Late Model Champions
at Owosso
Speedway.
Also with the cancellation, the 2010 Season Championships for
ALL FIVE
DIVISIONS within the Weekly Local Racing Series will now be a
part of
the "15th annual Owosso Fall Nationals"

to
go with his 2007 title, but has only a 9-point advantage over
Jimmy O.
Smith while five other drivers (Ed Young Jr., Dave Bigos, Dan
Leeck,
John Forsythe Jr., and Ryan Etchison) are ALL still mathematically
alive for the title.
They'll be going up against a slew of invaders hoping to put
their
name in the record books as an Owosso Fall Nationals Champion

includes Defending Owosso Fall Nationals Champion and 2010 Whittemore
Speedway Late Model Track Champion, Cale Wiltse, as well as Three-Time
Dixie Motor Speedway Pro Late Models Track Champion, Ed Doutre
Jr.,
and a host of other top notch competitors.
In the Modifieds, Luckhurst, the most successful driver in Owosso
Speedway's 69-year history, has already wrapped up an unprecedented
Eighth Consecutive and 12th Overall Championship as the Ovid,
Michigan
veteran already clinched the Championship as he accomplished
the feat
back on September 4th with a second place finish in the Modifieds
Feature that night!
Basalone looks to become the first driver in 24 seasons to repeat
as
Champion in the Pro Stocks division as Robinson looks for his
first
career title in the Pure Stocks.
Both drivers merely need to start their respective Features
and the
titles are there's while in the Sport Stocks, Crump looks to
pull off
the sweep of both Overall and Rookie titles in his first season
behind
the wheel of a full bodied stock car as he carries a not so
comfortable 26-point advantage over 16-year-old Matt Vainner.

Donnert

in
the Modifieds.

at
Owosso's sister track to the Northeast, the Dixie Motor Speedway
in
Birch Run, Michigan, an afternoon of carnage and mayhem will
close the
curtain on the 2010 racing season in Ovid, Michigan.
