Miller Repeats Victory
John Miller used a wet track to his advantage Saturday night
at the Mottville Speedway and became the first two time feature
winner in Division 2 of the Mini Thunder Cars!
Miller won the 15 lapper over James Brooks, who won the pursuit,
dash and heat. Third went to season points leader Arthur Brazee
followed by Scott Hagaman, Steven Woods, Kevin Barfell and Zach
Hiser.
The MTC Division 1 12 lap feature was run on a dry track and
the Hagaman picked up his 2nd feature win of the season over
Jerry Bellaire, Vickie Bellaire and Brandon Remsing. Hagaman
also won the heat.
Paul Scott made it 6 feature wins in 6 nights as he took the
15 lap Sports Stock feature over Ed Hiser, Zach Hiser and Robert
Hamlin. Scott also won the heat.
The kart action was exciting to put it mildly! Running on
a wet track the 4 cycles put on an amazing show with Brad Birmele
picking up the upset win in a 15 lapper over Dillon Dane, Arthur
Smith, season points leader Preston Craw, Marshall Pebler and
Jeff Hamilton. Craw won the dash and Hamilton the heat.
In the 2 cycle division Roger Beiler won his 2nd feature of
the season in a 10 lapper and Chris Lemiing won the heat.
Although there was a misty rain from time to time the track
was dry until the final two features when the rain picked up
and made it very slick and very exciting!
Racing action continues with night number 7 this Saturday.
