Hornet World Championships at Macon Speedway This Saturday Night

Macon, IL (September 8, 2011) - Macon Speedway will host the Hornet World Championship race this Saturday night. The nights UMP Pro Hornet race will include a $500 to win purse. Also on the racing card will be the Billingsley Towing Modified, Touchstone Energy Sportsman, UMP Street Stocks and Amateur Hornets. The action at Macon Speedway will then take place on Saturday, September 17 for the Cromwell Fan Appreciation Night/Bully Dog Triple Crown Late Model Event. Rain checks from the September 3 rain out will be honored either this Saturday, September 10 or Saturday, September 17. September 17 will be the last night of racing at Macon Speedway for the Chevrolet Late Model division, Touchstone Energy Sportsman, Pro Hornets and the High School Hornets for 2011. Macon Speedway will host the POWRi Midgets and POWRi Micros along with the Billingsley Towing Modified, Street Stocks and the Amateur Hornets on September 24 to finish out the exciting season at Macon Speedway.
